Week by Week Pregnancy: 38 - 39 Weeks
During these weeks, your baby has grown to about the size of a pumpkin. All of your baby’s organs are fully matured and ready for birth. Thanks to fat accumulation, your baby will be able to regulate body temperature after birth. The baby’s movements may have decreased during these weeks due to the limited space in the womb, but you should still feel several movements each day.
The expectant mother should be aware that labor can begin at any moment during these weeks. Signs of labor, such as contractions and the breaking of water, should be closely monitored. It's important to rest, eat healthily, and stay informed about the labor process during this time. You are now counting down the days until you can hold your baby in your arms.
