Week by Week Pregnancy: 33 - 35 Weeks

During these weeks, your baby has grown to about the size of a melon. Your baby's skin is less transparent and looks fuller due to the accumulation of fat. While the brain and nervous system continue to develop rapidly, the baby’s movements may slow down a bit due to limited space, but they are still quite strong.

The expectant mother may feel the approach of labor more intensely during these weeks. Swelling in the legs and feet may increase, especially after standing for long periods. Additionally, as the baby moves into the head-down position, breathing may become a bit easier, though pressure in the pelvic area can increase. During this period, it's important to watch for signs of labor and report any changes to your doctor.
