Week by Week Pregnancy 14 - 15 Weeks
Your baby is growing rapidly and reaches the size of a lemon in these weeks. The eyes and ears are settling in the right areas of the face, and the baby is gradually starting to develop the finger sucking reflex. The bones become harder and the baby's movements increase as the muscles become stronger, although these movements may not yet be felt by the mother.
The second trimester is generally considered a more comfortable period for the expectant mother. During these weeks, nausea usually subsides and appetite returns. As the uterus continues to grow, the abdomen may become slightly prominent. Good self-care and a balanced diet are very important for the healthy development of the baby during this period.
